The body bags that have been widely used until now by the Institutions and Agencies all over the world create significant limitations and have an impact on organizing of large-scale emergency operations, generating critical issues, especially connected to handling them and managing the available space. D.E.A. was founded to provide a solution that is not only efficient, but first and foremost ethical. It takes shape in the form of a new, technologically innovative product capable of improving and optimizing conditions of storage, transportation and upkeep for human remains.
The product
Made in ABS, Polyethylene, Polypropylene and Bioplastic, lighter than the traditional compositions, impact resistant and entirely biodegradable, D.E.A. caskets were designed to provide Agencies and Institutions all over the world with a new and more efficient method to handle cases of large-scale deaths, epidemics, environmental disasters and other emergencies.
CHARACTERISTICS
Materials
The materials used possess various properties that ensure the mechanical resistance required to handle the body and the casket is waterproof for all transportation and storage conditions, therefore complying with the prevailing international regulations. They are easy to incinerate and do not generate toxic fumes, thereby allowing for zero dry residue.
PRODUCTION
The D.E.A. industrialization project draws from more than 30 years of operations in the Italian market and abroad designing and casting plastic material for industry.
The experience gained over time and the machinery in our possession have allowed us to create a project that we believe is fundamentally important for all Institutions and Agencies that are required to take on modern day large-scale emergencies. We are directly involved with the mass production of each individual coffin and any customization requirements that can be performed on request.
From the CAD CAM design phase to creation of the mold and then full-scale production, performed with latest generation presses in order to guarantee the excellent quality level, further confirmed through constant quality checks on the raw material and industrialization procedures.
REGULATIONS
The product complies with the prevailing regulations in the European Area, but it can be made to order in accordance with international regulations or the specific regulations for each nation where it will be used.
